Buying on-line
Buying on-line is so easy! When you have finished, clic on "Order" and we will ask you a few questions so that we can treat your order efficiently. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency at the rate of exchange on the day of your purchase. We accept payment by VISA, Mastercard or American Express. You may also send us your credit card details by fax, e-mail or mail.

Full payment for your purchases must have been received by us before the goods leave the factory. We cannot accept payment on receipt of the goods.

Cancelling your order
Royal-Avenue, like most retailers, does not hold stock. All purchases from this site are passed directly on to the manufacturer who, in most cases, then ships directly to you. All orders are therefore special orders and cannot be cancelled. Purchases paid for are binding. Please contact us before finalizing your order if you have any doubts or require further information.

Delivery times
We will prepare you order immediately, just as soon as we have received your payment. For international customers, a delay of 2 to 8 weeks is generally required for the manufacture and shipping of your order. We will, of course, let you know the expected delivery date.
N.B. - Please note that all the manufacturers close for the annual legal vacation during 4 weeks in August. All orders placed during this month will be submitted to the manufacturer as soon as they reopen and delivery dates will be for mid to end October.

Handling and shipping
Shipping charges are automatically calculated, at a set rate, according to the size of your order and the delivery destination. However, for all orders under 100 Euros, we are obliged to debit you the full and real shipping costs and not the set rate as is pre-arranged on the website. Please contact us for full details and to know how much your order will cost to ship.

Breakages or other "surprises" on delivery
In the unlikely case of items arriving broken or chipped, please send us a photograph of the broken items along with a full list, and we will have replacements made for you and sent to you without further charge.
If it appears that the contents of the parcel differ from those you ordered, please send us a complete list of the wrong items and we will have remplacements made and sent to you without further charge.

Availability of items
If for some unforeseen reason, your order cannot be fulfilled, you will receive an e-mail giving you the option to cancel or change your order.

Value added tax / Import tax
All prices on this site include French VAT but, for destinations outside of Europe, the tax will be automatically deducted before you make payment online. Overseas customers do not pay French VAT (at 19.6%). However, when your parcel arrives, you will be asked to pay your country's import tax. This varies from one country to another and is approx. 8% of the total order for the United States of America.

Bridal and other registries
Prices usually increase at the beginning of each calendar year. Unless you are informed otherwise, the owner of the registry will be asked to pay the difference in price for all items purchased from the registry in the previous calendar year(s) when the registry is closed.

Shipping charges for items purchased on a bridal registry are on us. Royal-Avenue will pay these costs as a gesture of friendship to the bridal couple and their friends and family.

We would like to point out that if a person does not finalize payment on our bank's server, a gift may nethertheless show up on the registry as having been purchased. We are sorting out this problem and apoligize for any inconvenience.

Please note that items purchased from a registry list will be not be sent individually. Once the registry is closed, all the items purchased from the registry will be manufactured at the same time so as to ensure that they are as identical as is possible with hand crafted goods. The all the tableware purchased from the registry will be sent to the recepient at the same time, once the registry is closed and the goods have been manufactured.

Secure payment
We know of no fraud following the use of our on-line shopping system. Your credit card details can only be entered to the secure server of our bank. All information and data is encrypted and is never stored in full on the Internet nor de we, Royal Avenue, ever have access to it..
